Eye Candy is a set of Photoshop filters that graphic designers use to render gorgeous special effects, like Chrome, Glass, and Fire. Some of our filters can be used in subtle ways, but most of Eye Candy is for making people say, “Cool! How did you do that?” Eye Candy effects look extremely realistic, not computery like the filters built into Photoshop. This level of slick detail is easy with Eye Candy, but is tedious or impossible to do by hand in Photoshop alone.
Note that Eye Candy is for graphic design tasks, not for photography, at least not directly. Most Eye Candy filters would not be useful when applied to an entire photograph. However, they would look great when applied to a title or logo on top of that photograph. They can also help a photographer make buttons and other parts of her web site look cool.
