Ever wanted to have your lineart clean and paint below it?
Just realized that the "magic wand" is not that magical?
Using the "select color" + Del makes your lineart jaggy?
Tired of using the "multiply" mode on a greyscale lineart, because when you merge down your layers the exterior white merges visible?
Ever wished to color specific areas of the contour without losing detail?

WELL, DOWNLOAD THIS!

This small action takes the information from the background of an image (namely the outlines of a drawing) and puts it in a spare layer, where only black exists. The white pixels are now transparent, and the grey pixels are actually black with reduced opacity.

CAUTION: this is intended to work with grayscale images. RGB images are supported, as long as the background containing the artwork does not have colors.

Recomendation: before playing the action on your lineart, clean it up with curves or levels, and erase any unwanted spots.

Have fun!!!
